HydroSonic does NOT require you to create an account. We do NOT collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identification. All core hardware utilities and processing are performed 100% locally on your device.

Welcome to HydroSonic. Your privacy is critically important to us. This comprehensive policy outlines how we handle data and permissions within our hardware utility application, ensuring total transparency and user security.

1. Information Collection & Usage

HydroSonic is designed exclusively as a hardware maintenance tool. Because our priority is your privacy, the app functions with the following strict principles:

  • No Account Required: You can use all features of the app without signing up, logging in, or providing personal details.
  • Local Data Processing: Hardware status monitoring (RAM, CPU temperature, storage capacity) is analyzed in real-time directly on your device CPU. No hardware data is transmitted to our servers.
  • No Background Tracking: We do not track your location, browsing habits, or personal app usage.

2. Why We Request Permissions

To provide high-performance hardware cleaning and diagnostics, HydroSonic requests strictly necessary device permissions. We only request permissions required for better app performance and functionality:

  • RECORD_AUDIO Diagnostic Use Only: This is used strictly to analyze speaker output frequencies and verify hardware functionality during the cleaning phase. We absolutely do not record, store, listen to, or transmit your voice or audio data anywhere.
  • VIBRATE Hardware Ejection: Used to trigger the device's vibration motor at specific haptic frequencies for physical dust and water ejection.
  • READ / WRITE STORAGE Junk File Analysis: Used to scan your storage to identify empty or corrupted files taking up space. No files are automatically deleted. The app only suggests files for cleanup; actual deletion requires your explicit manual confirmation.
  • NOTIFICATIONS Process Alerts: Used to safely alert you when a multi-step hardware cleaning or diagnostic process has finished running.

3. Third-Party Services & Analytics

While we do not collect personal data, HydroSonic utilizes industry-standard third-party services to ensure the app remains free, stable, and crash-free:

  • Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display non-intrusive advertisements. AdMob may collect device-specific information (such as your Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads via your Android device settings.
  • Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: We use Firebase strictly to monitor app performance. If the app crashes, Firebase sends an anonymous crash log containing device model and OS version so our developers can fix the bug. No personal identity is attached to this data.

4. Data Security & Retention

Any configuration changes you make in the app (such as Dark/Light Theme preferences or notification settings) are saved locally on your device via standard Android SharedPreferences. We do not maintain cloud databases for user profiles. Because your data is not stored on our servers, there is no risk of a centralized data breach exposing your usage.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

HydroSonic complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect, request, or store any information from children under the age of 13. The app is a general utility tool designed for safe use by all demographics.
